Lorraine was born on February 27th , 1960 in North Shields. She spent a number of years living with her parents, Betty and Ron Hunton and brother John in Harrogate before returning with them to Newcastle in 1981.

She met her husband Adrian in 1985 and they married in 1898. They have two sons, Christopher and David.
